| This is the last of the pictures I brought with me to Japan to colour in. When I drew this... it wasn't raining or anything. In fact, we'd basically had a drought for most of the year, and after so many hot, sunny days, you really do want it to rain. So I drew the lineart (^_^ And doesn't Goten look cute in that jacket?). I think I was only planning to have the rain dripping a little at the time...
When I got to Japan, I came in the middle of a very strange patch of weather. This year is colder and rainer than it usually is; the exact opposite of Australia. It was raining when I was colouring this; so I decided to make it pouring with rain in the picture too. Rain, and just water in general isn't easy to draw. The splashes took me ages to do; but in retrospect, I probably should have taken more time on them. The same goes for the background, but as they go, it's not bad. |
