"Into the Light". This took me three days to complete ^_^;;. I'm not really sure where the idea came from. I did a few sketches then picked the best one and scanned it, and painted on top of it on Photoshop. I guess I was really playing around with different ways of doing things while I was painting this; for one thing, I reversed the colours on the original sketch so that basically I was painting on a black screen and the colours came "into the light" as I worked on it.

I guess the only way to explain this pic would be to add the short story that somehow ended up being attached to it... well here goes...

I was the only one who volunteered to go when Cireus returned, tired and near collapse, claiming to have seen the light. The others were afraid, they claimed he was lying, that all those who see it go blind. Marcis came too, though I could tell he was also scared.

We travelled for so long I lost track of time. It could have been weeks, it could have been months, we just kept moving. As we rose the air became thick with oxygen, making us light-headed and more prone to losing the way. Cireus said he could smell the light, but we knew he was just following the faint wind patterns and going where the air seemed newer.

Eventually we saw it; the faint glowing light creeping around the twisting tunnels, growing in strength until the lamps seemed like nothing in comparison. Marcis grew frightened and asked me to tie the saron over his eyes. We climbed up one last, steep embankment and then we saw it. The Light.
