I've been trying to study a slightly more realist style lately, and since Final Fantasy X is somewhat borderline, Tidus has mostly been my model. I managed to get a few reasonable pencil sketches done, but just about *every* picture I've tried CGing until recently has turned out really munted.

This time instead of working from a sketch I just threw together a plan on computer and went from there. Don't ask me why that made a difference... There's a bunch of areas I probably should have cleaned up, but I've already spent a riduculous number of hours on this. I still have a *long* way to go in this style of CGing, but all up, I'm pretty happy with this pic.

The idea was sort of... to draw the moment when you realise that you're going to get a goal or see an opening. ^_^; So it's called "The Moment". *laughs* I think I've been subjected to watching too much sport recently...
