I've had this pic stuck in my head for ages... and it came out looking pretty much the same as my mental image! *shock* And you know what? I'M NEVER DRAWING A FRIKKING TREE AGAIN! So... many... leaves... Kinda shows my patience level, doesn't it? I prefer to spend my time on the characters themselves, rather than on super-detailed backgrounds, but in this case, I think it paid off. The other really challenging thing about the pic (once again, the tree's fault!) is the patches of light and dark... it still looks a little strange.

Yosou sure has changed since I started drawing him... (At least, his hair has) I'm tending not to use the Dragonball-esk spikey-style hair for my characters anymore... my style's going more Slayers or Tenchi Muyo-like. It sure gets confuddling when I start switching between DBZ fanart and original characters! @_@

Onto a little on what the pic's about... This is Yosou in his normal 'earth element' form. (He changes elements with emotions) It sort of goes with the pic of Yosou sitting on the wharf looking depressed, in water element. I know a few people have asked why Yosou's eyes are different colours in different pictures, so here's why... It depends what mood he's in. Happy/Normal=Earth=Green, Depressed=Water=Blue, Scared=Wind=Grey, Angry=Fire=Red.
