Series: Kingdom Hearts 2 (Same as Advent Children version, minus arm-ribbon) Character: Tifa Lockheart First worn: Wai-con 2005 Prizes: Wai-con 2006: First place (skit) catagory, Day 1. Events attended: Wai-con 2006, Genghiscon 2007, GO3 2007. Status: Complete Easiest Aspect: The earrings, as they were the same ones from the FFVII costume. Hardest Aspect: Finding the pleather/vinyl! Spotlight has a vendetta against me, I swear. The pleated back-skirt! The type of pleather I used does not iron. It melts. I ended up having to stick the pleats in place using hot glue! Contruction Notes: Working with pleather/vinyl certainly was a new experience; it's much less forgiving than the materials I'd previously used. I made the pattern from scratch our of scrap material before trying it in pleather.
