To start off with you'll need a large clean piece of white paper. I use A4 printing paper for most of my drawings. Lined paper is okay for sketches, but not if you want to scan your work.

Here's a list of the stationary I use:
- 0.3 mm and 0.5 pacers/ mechanical pencils.
- A large soft eraser and a 1 cm pen eraser.
- A stencil and rulers for drawing circles and straight lines
- Black 0.1 mm, and 0.05mm fineliners for inking.

Well, that's if you're into drawing enough to spend money on flashy stationery. All you really need is a sharp pencil and an eraser that doesn't smudge.
